An Airmont man has been indicted for robbing New York banks earlier this year. 29 year-old Yosef Ziegler was arraigned Monday and ordered held without bail. The U-S Attorney for the Southern District of New York said last month Ziegler started his bank-robbing spree with the Chase Bank at Pacesetter Shopping Center on Route 202 in Pomona last January. That was allegedly followed by another heist in Park Ridge, New Jersey, in April, one in Wappingers Falls in June and then in October in Fishkill. In all four cases he reportedly claimed to have a bomb or explosives. Ziegler faces 25 years in prison for each of the three counts of bank robbery that he faces in New York.
