The 39-year-old Orange County man charged in the Monsey Hanukkah attack has been found mentally incompetent to stand trial on federal attempted murder and hate crime charges. LoHud.com reports Grafton Thomas was ordered to be held in a hospital for treatment for at most four months, and while he’s not cleared of the charges, they will try to determine in that time whether he can understand the charges against him and assist in his own defense. He still faces county charges stemming from the attack as well. 73 year-old Josef Neumann died late last month from head and body wounds he got from the December attack.
