Yesterday the governor said in a statement it may feel like the fight with COVID is over, but people are still dying due to the virus. The 7-day positivity rate of Long Island, the city, and the Mid-Hudson regions all fell below one percent over the weekend for the first time since September third.
COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, the death count is unchanged since last Monday at 955. We’ve got eight hospitalized confirmed with coronavirus, and 276 active cases. Our total case count is 46,626, that’s 19 more than Friday.
