An area state lawmaker says he doesn’t have much confidence in the state’s slow pace at getting the vaccine to nursing homes. In a statement, Stony Point and Orange County Assemblyman Colin Schmitt said the current state-level distribution process has been “marred with missteps and ineffectiveness.” Governor Andrew Cuomo said the feds were in charge of the nursing home program, which he said the state is taking over to move it along faster, and he said the hospitals need to step it up as well…
