A special art exhibit is coming to Nyack this week that’ll raise funds for the Rockland County Pride Center. The “Soaring Spirits” exhibit is being held in memory of local arts champion, Hal Parker, a community activist who also owned “The Corner Frame Shop.” He passed away in January at the age of 74. Lisa D’Amico helped coordinate the exhibit, and says Parker annually held exhibits at the Rockland Center for the Arts to benefit the Pride Center…
The in-person exhibit runs from August 1st through the 15th with an opening reception on August 2nd, 6pm-8pm at The Parker, where Hal’s framing business was located, at 40 South Franklin Street in Nyack.
