Rockland’s County Executive said he is tired of being the state’s “red-headed stepchild” when it comes to the vaccination program. County Executive Ed Day says with the second highest fatality rate in the state, Rockland deserves more attention, and the 21-hundred doses the Health Department got on Wednesday, is not nearly enough…
Day says seniors who are having trouble navigating the state’s website can get help from the Rockland County Office for the Aging. Call them at 845-364-2110. Be patient when you call, as lots of people have been asking for help. The medical transportation program can also get you a taxi to your appointment, if you can get one. Call 845-364-2733 if you need help or would like to volunteer for that program.
