The Rockland Business Women’s Network is honoring three women at its annual breakfast next week. RBWN president Risa Hoag says entrepreneur Kelly Campbell was named one of the group’s “Women of Achievement,” and Nanuet Psychologist and Career Counselor, Dr. Kathleen Cuneo, is being honored as “Service Woman of the Year” during the virtual event…
Jawonio’s Diana Hess was also named as a “Woman of Achievement”…

The family of the 19 year-old killed on Memorial Day in Spring Valley has launched a GoFundMe page, saying they “were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service.” Police continue their search for those responsible for the fatal shooting of Tyriq Seward of South Carolina. He was found in the street on Rose Avenue suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Charges against a Clarkstown man accused of participating in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th are being dropped. The Journal News says the U.S. Attorney’s Office is dismissing the criminal case against 44 year-old Christopher Kelly, who had been arrested on January 20th in New City. No additional information was immediately available on why the charges were being dropped. Kelly’s lawyer told the Journal News Kelly never entered the Capitol on January 6th and he hopes he “can go back to work and start to rebuild his life.”
