Suffern High School Student Charged with Vehicular Manslaughter and DWI Could Face Charges as an Adult
The 17 year old Suffern High School student charged with the fatal accident that killed a classmate and injured three others last month could be charged as an adult. That’s according to Rockland Sheriff Lou Falco. The teen is being treated as a juvenile in Family Court, and Falco says that’s why he wasn’t jailed following the fatal crash…
The unidentified teen faces DWI, vehicular manslaughter and other charges. According to News 12, prosecutors said he was going 70 miles-an-hour in a 45 zone at the time of the crash, and he’s accused of being under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he struck a telephone pole on Route 202 in Montebello. He is at home, and he can only go to school, doctors’ appointments or meetings connected to the case, and must be with his parents. His junior license has been revoked and he has to check in daily with his probation officer. 16 year-old Jacqueline Zangrilli died at the scene, and a GoFundMe for her thus far has raised $130,000.

But in those same venues, Cuomo said, fully-vaccinated attendees won’t need to be spaced six feet apart, and can be together in specially-designated vaccinated sections…
To help encourage vaccinations, free ticket vouchers will be available to New Yorkers who get vaccinated at Yankee Stadium or Citi Field. New York Boulders VP Seth Cantor says regardless of what the big-league teams are doing or the state is mandating, the ballpark in Pomona will be safe and comfortable…

Before the pandemic, around a quarter million people were seeing Broadway shows each week.
