The Stony Point Seals annual fundraiser for families with steep medical expenses, the 20th annual Pole R Plunge, is being held Sunday in the Hudson River off Grassy Point Road. That’s when dozens of crazy people brave the frigid waters of the river to help two area 9 year-olds who have lots of medical bills. Keira Cunningham was the victim of a sudden brain hemorrhage, and Kyle Payen, suffers from Sickle Cell disease and recently underwent a bone marrow transfer.
