Orangetown Police are looking for answers after a possible luring attempt in Pearl River over the weekend. Town supervisor Chris Day tells “The Morning Show” a 10-year-old was sitting on a curb near Lang Terrace and Lombardi Road in Pearl River on Saturday around 2 in the afternoon when a white van with tinted windows driven by a white male stopped and asked the boy if he wanted a ride home…

The mortgage industry and home buyers and sellers are among those affected by the government shutdown. The IRS transcripts that home buyers need for closing have been backlogged due to the stalemate in Washington. Rose Mohaded is a Junior Underwriter with FM Home Loans in Pomona, and she says since some government employees have been called back into the office to take care of business without being paid, paperwork is starting to move, but they are still way behind…

A group of Rocklanders is heading to the nation’s capital to join the March for Life and rally this afternoon. Jean Marie Grahn is an organizer with Rockland Right to Life and says they’ll arrive in Washington D. C. in time to participate in the March, which organizers say is to end what they call the “human rights abuse of abortion”…
