We all know about the Democrats and Republicans, but others have names that typically reflect their positions, such as Constitution, Communist, Green, Liberal, Libertarian and others. Skoufis cites a recent Daily News poll that found that 85% of 200 voters they surveyed registered in the Independence party believed they were independent of any party affiliation. A representative from the Independence Party could not be reached for comment.
