An Ossining man faces ten years in prison after he was arrested by the feds Friday and accused of threatening to kill U.S. postal workers and burn down two post offices in Westchester. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, says 46 year-old Anthony Alfano made a series of graphic and violent threats on Saturday June 22nd threatening a “massacre” that would “go down in history” if his package was not delivered on-time. Williams said he was expecting cremated remains, and the package arrived on the next business day. He was charged with threatening interstate communications, and willfully making a threat involving fire. Williams said Alfano has made threats against others, including local police officers, delivery persons, and customer service representatives in the past.

Ramapo Adding EV Charging Stations Around Town
The town of Ramapo is putting electric vehicle chargers in Eugene Levy Park and other locations around town. Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht says the chargers are being installed thanks to a partnership with the Livingston Energy Group…
Other locations include the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Center, the Manny Weldler park, the Department of Public Works and Highway Department in Suffern, Spook Rock pool and golf course, Town Hall and the former Saddle River pool. Some are operational already, others, Specht says, will be online soon. They are all open to the public at a rate of $0.30 per kilowatt, though that is subject to change depending on demand.
NY Boulders Open Three-game Home Stand Against Ottawa Titans, Fan Favorite Returns to Team for Pics and Game Action This Week
The New York Boulders return home to Clover Stadium in Pomona tonight to start a three-game series against the Ottawa Titans. Game time 7pm tonight. They’ve lost six of their last ten games. The Boulders are in 2nd place in the Eastern Division, just a half-game ahead of the Titans. Meanwhile, a fan-favorite from the championship-winning Rockland Boulders is returning to the team tonight after a stint in the big leagues. Outfielder Stephen Cardullo will play his first professional game since 2021. He was the Boulders’ first player to reach the Majors, when he joined the Colorado Rockies in 2016. Cardullo will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans tonight. He’ll suit up and take the field with the team on Thursday. Cardullo was a key member of the Boulders’ 2014 title-winning squad, hitting a leadoff home run in the second inning of Game 6 of the Championship Series that accounted for the game-winning RBI in the series clincher.
News Briefs: Pomona Toddler Critical After Struck by Car
A Pomona toddler was in critical condition after being hit by a car Friday morning. That’s according to News 12. The accident occurred around 9am on Marion Court in Pomona. Haverstraw Police reportedly told News 12 the 19-month-old boy was walking outside when he was hit by the car. The driver stayed on-scene and police are investigating. The driver, so far, has not been charged.
Haverstraw Offers Reward in Recent Homicide
The Town of Haverstraw is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of 18 year-old Yandie Martinez. Haverstraw Police suspect him in the murder of 29 year-old Christian Alvarado, who had crashed his car into a parked car around 4pm July 1st near 9 Fairmount Avenue. He was found on the sidewalk with multiple bullet wounds to his torso. He was treated at the scene and later pronounced dead at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Haverstraw Police say Martinez should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should call them at 845-354-1500.
