An Orange County man was killed Tuesday night after he was run over in a parking space by a minivan being driven by a 13 year-old. New York State Police say 36 year-old Abraham Moskovits had to be pulled out from under a 2024 Honda Odyssey just before 9pm Tuesday night. Police say an unidentified 13 year-old was backing the van into a parking area by a housing complex on Lemberg Court in the village of Kiryas Joel, town of Monroe, when the teen rapidly accelerated, striking Moskovits and the residence. EMS performed life-saving measures, and Moskovits was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, where he died of his injuries. No word on any charges in the incident, which is under investigation.
