The victim of the fatal minivan/pick-up truck collision in Nanuet Tuesday night has been identified. Clarkstown Police say ten year-old Michael Bosco of Pomona died of his injuries, three others were injured in the crash at the intersection of Route 304 and West Nyack Road. The VFW post 9215 in Upper Nyack is asking for donations to help Afghan allies who have been escaping Afghanistan and relocating to the U.S. since the war ended. Post commander Damien Shea says those that served alongside our troops for the past twenty years need our help…
Donors are asked to bring various items, including baby and children’s clothing, strollers, baby walkers, diapers, new baby bottles and assorted baby items, and men’s and women’s winter clothing, jackets and boots. They also accept Amazon, Target and Walmart gift cards. The items should be brought by October 24th to the VFW at 250 Birchwood Avenue in Upper Nyack or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on 112 North Main Street in Pearl River. 9th Annual Happy Jack 5K Comes to West Nyack Saturday
A 5K is being held Saturday in Clarkstown to raise money for a local group that supports families who have lost a child. The 9th Annual Happy Jack 5K honors John Thomas Doyle, who died shortly after doctors discovered he had a brain tumor. His father, Steve Doyle of Clarkstown, says keeping his son’s memory alive helps his family, and serves to help others…

14th Annual Pearl River Day Street Fair Kicks Off Saturday, Rain or Shine
