Several New York agencies are working to address the school bus driver shortage with several short-and long-term fixes. They’re looking to make it easier to get traditional and non-traditional Commercial Driver’s Licenses and expand CDL testing opportunities. The state also wants more drivers, so they’re reaching out to over half a million current CDL license holders to lure them back into the work force.

GOP Candidate for NY Governor Picks Up Endorsement of Rockland Republican Committee
A GOP candidate for New York governor, with the election more than a year away, swung through Rockland to pick up the endorsement of the county Republican committee. Rockland’s Congressman Wants Big Banks to Help Fight Climate Change
Rockland’s Congressman is looking to enlist big banks in the fight against climate change.
