In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders squeaked out a win yesterday 5-4 against Team Quebec, losing two out of the three-game series over the weekend. The Boulders lost Friday’s contest 8-3 and then dropped Saturday’s game which was settled by home run derby. The game was tied at 6, but Quebec out-homered the Boulders, 10-1. The two teams are tied for second place in the three-team division. Both are three games behind the division-leading Tri-City ValleyCats. The Boulders are off today.
Rocklanders Concerned Over Hi-Tor Following Execution of DA’s Search Warrant
Wednesday’s raid by Rockland’s District Attorney on the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona has many concerned over the future of the shelter. The D-A did not disclose what the raid was about, but “Morning Show” listener Jenn called in yesterday and said it may not only be about the money…
County Executive Ed Day says all the funds that have been raised for Hi-Tor are accounted for, and Hi-Tor and the D-A should work out a plan to make sure the animals are properly cared for…
The D-A’s search warrant was reportedly part of an ongoing investigation. Hi-Tor Board President Debbie DiBernardo could not be reached for comment.

The New York Times reported Cuomo’s been given until the end of next week to submit evidence in his defense for the Assembly’s investigation. Judiciary Committee chairman Assemblyman Charles Lavine said Thursday they would consider potential articles of impeachment soon.
