To help offset chronic blood shortages, Rockland residents are encouraged to donate blood once a season or four times annually. To donate at Montefiore Nyack’s blood drive, which is being held Wednesday, January 31st, you can schedule an appointment at the New York Blood Center’s Donor Portal online or for more information visit NYBC.org. The NYBC’s Bloodmobile will be stationed in the Physician’s Lot, located off Route 9W between Fifth and Midland Avenues in Nyack from noon until 6pm.
