In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders played games two and three of their four-game road trip against the Tri-City ValleyCats at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy yesterday. In game one, the Boulders were down five-nothing in the 6th, but that’s when they started making some noise of their own…
And that was Joe Mixie with the call courtesy of the Tri-City ValleyCats radio network. The Boulders scored four in the sixth and cut the lead to one, but would go on to lose 8-7.
In game two, the ValleyCats got to scoring early in their half of the first, with the bases loaded, one out, and a drive hit deep into right-centerfield…
The ValleyCats would go on to win, 6-5. They’ve taken the first three of this four-game series. They play again today at 11am.
