The 29th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act is being celebrated tomorrow by BRIDGES, Rockland County’s Independent Living Center. The ADA provides for national standards to help eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities. The event will be honoring five people who serve as mentors and supporters for people with disabilities. It gets underway at 10 tomorrow morning at Palisades Center in the East Court on Level One.
