Fans of the show heard last week how Steve’s pal, Milton Koja, a musician from New City, was turned away earlier this month from the dollar store in the New City Shop Rite shopping center because his guide dog, Nash, was not permitted to enter the store. That, of course, is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Milton met with county officials from the Human Rights Commission to discuss the situation. Clarkstown supervisor George Hoehmann says the store owner has now learned what the law requires, and he’s posted a sign in the window showing he accepts guide dogs in his shop…
