Tolls on bridges north of Rockland County, including the Bear Mountain and the Newburgh-Beacon, could be on the rise, but when or how much is up in the air. The increased tolls would help fund capital improvement plans for the bridges. The other three bridges in this proposal include the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Mid-Hudson Bridge between Poughkeepsie and Highland, the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge and the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, which connects Hudson and Catskill. The Tappan Zee bridge is part of the Thruway Authority.
