An unidentified driver was killed after striking a tree early Sunday morning on Letchworth Village Road and Storms Road in Stony Point. The Journal News reports no one else was in the car, which was found burned from the crash. The incident is under investigation by Haverstraw Police.

Driver Faces Charges in Two Towns for Alleged DWI Accidents
One car, two accidents in two towns. News 12 reports police in Clarkstown and Ramapo are looking at the same driver for two different DWI accidents over the weekend. Police in Ramapo reportedly responded to Rockland Lane in Hillcrest for a crash where a pickup truck struck a tree. The driver left the scene on foot but was found nearby with minor injuries. Clarkstown police identified the truck and the driver as being involved in an earlier crash. The unidentified driver reportedly faces DWI charges in both towns.

The governor says testing continues on all vape products authorized in the state’s Medical Marijuana Program. There have been no adverse events related to vaping among certified patients in this program since this investigation began.
