A judge on Tuesday said the Rockland County Department of Health can proceed with its order requiring camps to provide weekly lists of proof of vaccinations for all campers and staff. The Journal News reports the American Camp Association of New York and New Jersey challenged the policy in federal court. The association claimed its members were being held hostage by the mandate. There have been 276 confirmed cases of measles in Rockland County since the outbreak began in October.

Rockland Busts Unlicensed Landscaper
If a guy named “Rob Louch” has been doing landscaping in your yard, he may not be coming back for a while. The Rockland County Office of Consumer Protection got a bunch of complaints from licensed landscaping pros about him, so the county investigated and impounded his tools and equipment. County Executive Ed Day says it only costs $325 to apply for a Rockland Home Improvement…
Louch was ticketed in Orangetown and faces a charge of Unlicensed Home Improvement. He faces a fine of up to $1,000.00, or up to one year behind bars, or both.
