A Rockland teen was among dozens of women recognized earlier this month in Albany as a “Woman of Distinction” in a bill by the State Senate.
Suffern’s Grace VanderWaal won America’s Got Talent in 2016 when she was 12. VanderWaal works with the East Ramapo School District and created the Little Miracles Show Choir, which encourages young students to learn how to play instruments, dance and sing.
