A 24 year-old Haverstraw woman has turned herself in to police in connection with the stabbing of two other women Tuesday. Published reports said Angelica Bare of Haverstraw was charged with two counts of first-degree assault. The incident took place near Liberty and Main streets. The two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A connection between the three women or a motive is not known at this time.

Suspect in 7-Eleven Murder Case Ruled Fit to Stand Trial
The suspect accused of running down a pregnant mom at the Garnerville 7-Eleven has been ruled competent to stand trial. Melissa Deloatch was killed in February after 35 year-old Jason Mendez of Washingtonville reportedly argued with her husband over smoking near their children. Mendez is being held in the county jail on $1 million bail.

Ramapo Police Seek Suspects in Recent Car Break-ins
Ramapo Police are investigating several recent car break-ins. The incidents occur mostly between 1 and 5 am. Police say 2 or 3 men walk up to parked vehicles, and choose cars that are unlocked or break a window to get in. They allegedly take bags, wallets, cash and tablets.
