Warwick Man in Critical Condition Following Accident in Hillburn
A Warwick man was taken to Hackensack Medical Center in critical condition yesterday following an early morning crash with a garbage truck in Hillburn. Ramapo Police say the crash occurred around 6:45 in the morning yesterday when a garbage truck heading northbound on Route 59 near 4th Avenue swerved into the southbound lane, striking a small sedan head-on. The truck pushed the car into a parking lot alongside Route 59. Tallman, Hillburn and Suffern Fire Departments were called to remove the driver from the car. Ramapo Police investigators are working with New York State Department of Transportation officials to inspect the garbage truck as part of the investigation.

We reached out to the mall for comment but did not hear back.
