A discount retailer is reportedly coming to the former Nanuet Toys R Us location with plans to open later this year. Lohud.com reports the Rhode Island-based discount retailer Ocean State Job Lot will employ around 50 people after it converts the 38,000-square-foot building on Route 59. It’s been unoccupied since June last year.

Samsondale Avenue Bridge in Haverstraw Re-opened
The Samsondale Avenue Bridge over the CSX Railroad in the Village of West Haverstraw has been reopened, alleviating traffic that has been plaguing the area for months while the rehab project of the bridge was taking place. Haverstraw supervisor Howard Phillips says the work isn’t completely done yet but the bridge won’t have to be closed again…
The 2.3-million-dollar project on the 40 year-old bridge began last April.
NY Gov: “No Budget Until Reproductive Health Act Passes”

Cuomo said he won’t sign a budget until the Reproductive Health Act and the Contraceptive Care Act pass. The budget is due April first.
