Stony Point Looks to Bring Unique Green Project to Former Tilcon Quarry in Tompkins Cove
The town of Stony Point could become home for a unique green project that could take two decades to complete. This would be the largest project of its kind in the state. Monaghan says it would create about 40 local jobs and since rocks would come up by barge, area roadways wouldn’t be impacted.
