Two men died in a boating accident Sunday night in Goldens Bridge. Lohud.com said a fisherman had found a boat capsized on Muscoot Reservoir early Monday morning. Published reports identified the men as 48 year-old Ngan We Kong of Brooklyn and 47 year-old Weitao Ma of Staten Island. State police said they believe the two were out fishing about twelve hours earlier when the accident occurred.

Expansion Plans Still on the Table for Stony Point Library
The Stony Point Library’s budget got an increase from the town for 2019, its first boost in a decade. The East Main Street property that the Rose Memorial Library had bought for a possible expansion isn’t working out, but they may get an adjoining property, formerly the ambulance corps. 44-Control Operator Retires
After 14 years of service with the County Radio Headquarters, 44-Control Operator 35, Suzanne Bates, is retiring. She’s working her last shift today and then after the 4pm bell rings, she’s off and into retirement. Congrats, Suzanne!
