The New York Boulders played game three of their three-game series in Pomona against the Ottawa Titans last night, after splitting the first two games of the series. The Boulders dug themselves a six-run hole early on, but they scored three runs in the bottom of third inning and then Right Fielder Giovanni Garbella came to the plate with two men on base…
And that was Seth Cantor with the call on the Boulders Broadcast Network. The Boulders would go on to lose, 17-9. The Boulders are off today.

In Frontier League Baseball…the New York Boulders began a three-game series in Pomona against the Ottawa Titans on Monday. The Boulders won on Monday, 2-1, with rain shortening the game to eight innings. After about a 1½ hour rain delay at the start of Tuesday’s game, the Boulders and Titans were both scoreless when the Boulders came up in the bottom of the third looking to break the tie…
And that was Andrew Van Cura and Seth Cantor with the call on the Boulders Broadcast Network. The Boulders would go on to lose the game, 10-3. They play again tonight at 7pm. If you can’t get to the game, you can hear all the action right here on WRCR.
Three Boulders have been selected to be starters in the 2023 Frontier League All-Star Game. Infielder Matt McDermott, outfielder Patrick Kivlehan, and infielder Tucker Nathans will represent the East Division on Wednesday, July 12th at Ozinga Field in Crestwood, Illinois. The All-Star festivities will also include a Skills Competition featuring bunting, throwing, and hitting, as well as a Home Run Derby.
In hockey news…Pearl River native Drew Fortescue was picked 90th by the Rangers last week in the NHL draft. The 18 year-old Don Bosco defenseman grew up a fan of the Islanders, but told the New York Post his cousins are all Rangers fans, so they’re very happy.

The New York Boulders played the third of their three-game series at home against the Washington Wild Things yesterday. The Boulders dug themselves a hole early on, down four runs in the third inning, but two runners on and one out, second baseman Tucker Nathans would put the Boulders on the board…
And that was Seth Cantor with the call on the Boulders Broadcast Network. The Boulders would go on to win 11-10 in ten innings, taking the series two games to one. The Boulders head out to Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio to begin a three-game series against the Lake Erie Crushers tonight.

The New York Boulders started their three-game series at home with a doubleheader yesterday against the Washington Wild Things. The Boulders were down six runs in the seventh and final inning, but weren’t ready to call it quits just yet. They scored three, then brought DH Thomas Walraven to the plate with two men on base…
And that was Seth Cantor with the call on the Boulders Broadcast Network. The Boulders would go on to win the first game, 10-9 in nine innings. The New York Boulders played a three-game series against the Lake Erie Crushers this weekend. The Boulders lost Friday, 9-6. Saturday’s game went into the tenth inning, tied at nine with pitcher Andy Hammond pinch-hitting with a man on third…
And that was Marc Ernay on the Boulder Broadcast Network, the Boulders win, 10-9. They also won Sunday, 3-2. The Boulders have the day off today.
