In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders started a four-game series last night against Team Quebec at home in Pomona. Boulders’ outfielder Milton Smith Junior came up in the fifth inning looking to increase the Boulders’ lead…

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders played two this weekend out of a scheduled three-game series with the Sussex County Miners at Skylands Stadium in Augusta, NJ. The Boulders lost 12-10 Friday, but won Saturday’s match-up 8-3, yesterday’s game was postponed due to the weather. The Boulders are two games out of first place in their division with 19 games left to play. The Boulders start an important four-game series tonight, weather permitting, against division rival Team Quebec at home in Pomona.

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders were looking to salvage one game of their three-game series with the Tri-City ValleyCats yesterday at Joe Bruno stadium in Troy. The Boulders had a 4-2 lead in the ninth and were looking to add some insurance runs…
And that was Joe Mixie with the call on the Tri-City ValleyCats radio network. The ValleyCats made a push in the bottom of the ninth but fell short, and the final score was 5-2, Boulders win. The Boulders are now 3½ games back of the ValleyCats in the Atlantic Division race. The Boulders start a three-game road series with the Sussex County Miners tonight at 7pm.

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders and Tri-City ValleyCats rumbled in game two of their three-game series yesterday at Joe Bruno stadium in Troy. The Boulders had a four-run lead early but coughed that up in the 7th. With the scored tied at four in the ninth, the ValleyCats brought Luis Roman to the plate with a runner in scoring position…
And that was Joe Mixie with the call courtesy of the Tri-City ValleyCats radio network, that was his 400th broadcast, congrats Joe. The final score, 5-4, Boulders lose. The Boulders are in second place in the Atlantic division, 4.5 games behind the ValleyCats with just 22 games left to play in the season. They play again tonight at 6:30.
