In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders and the New Jersey Jackals went at it in game two of their three-game series. Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the Archbishop of New York, was on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch…

Cardinal Dolan went on to throw a one-hopper to the plate, you could call it a strike of sorts. The Boulders and Jackals then took to the field…the bases were loaded in the fourth for the Jackals, the score was tied at three. Boulders’ pitcher Ryan Muñoz was on the mound, and Jackals’ shortstop Santiago Chirino at the plate…

And that was Jacob Kronberg with the call on the Boulders Radio Network. The Boulders would go on to win 5-4. Game three is tonight at 7pm at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls, New Jersey.

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders started a three-game home series last night against the New Jersey Jackals. With two in scoring position and a one-run lead in the bottom of the 7th, the Boulders’ Jack Sundberg had a chance to add some insurance runs…

And that was Jacob Kronberg on the Boulders Radio Network. Turns out, the one run was all they’d need, the final Boulders one, Jackals nothing. Pitchers Orsen Josephina and Nathan Alexander combined for the four-hit shutout.

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders start a three-game series tonight against the New Jersey Jackals in Pomona, tonight and tomorrow’s games are at home but the third will be played on the road. Tonight’s game also marks National Night Out, which promotes police-community partnerships. Officer Robert Navarro says Ramapo Police will be on hand collecting school supplies for area kids, but instead of just filling up a box or bag, their goal is to fill up a police squad car…

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders played the first-ever Frontier League game in Canada on Friday, and lost 10-8 to Team Quebec. But the Boulders stormed back on Saturday with another historical achievement, notching the team’s 500th win, beating Team Quebec 4-2 and snapping a 6-game losing streak. Game three also had historical significance…

Not sure exactly what happened there, but it seems the Boulders’ Phil Caulfield hit a ground rule double, that courtesy of the Team Quebec Radio Network. Anyway, the game was tied 6-6 after ten innings, so they went on to their first home run derby. New York’s Ray Hernandez, Tucker Nathans and Zach Kirtley out-homered Quebec, 5-1, giving the Boulders the victory. They are off today.

In Frontier League baseball…the New York Boulders played game four of their four-game road trip against the Tri-City ValleyCats at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy yesterday. With Nathan Alexander pitching for the Boulders, outfielder Chris Kwitzer was at the plate for Tri-City, leading 6-3 in the 5th…
