Boulders fans have selected the top two starting pitchers for the All-Decade team, Richard Salazar and Bo Budkevics. Salazar spent four years with the Boulders, going 36-18 with a 3.40 ERA over his career, winning game five of the 2014 Can-Am League championship series. Budkevics spent six years in Pomona, and is probably best remembered for his three-hit, nine strikeout, eight scoreless inning performance against the New Jersey Jackals that clinched the championship in the sixth game. Voting for the All-Decade team is continuing this week, as voting for the team’s top closers is open for voting through Thursday on the team’s website, NYBoulders.com.

Former Boulders catcher Marcus Nidiffer has been selected by fans to the All-Decade team. The voting is part of the team’s celebration of its tenth year. Nidiffer played for the Boulders for five seasons, retiring in 2018. He hit 89 home runs overall for the Boulders, with a career high of 22 homers and 93 RBIs in 2015. Voting for other positions continues on their website, NYBoulders.com.
