The New York Boulders have signed Team Israel Olympic Baseball’s, Assaf Lowengart. The 25 year-old second baseman will make his pro debut with the Boulders. The season opens May 9th on the road against the New Jersey Jackals, and, according to the Boulders, Lowengart will make his home debut at the team’s opener at Clover Stadium on Friday, May 10th.

WRCR Personalities Pick Sides in Sunday’s Big Football Game
The Super Bowl kicks off Sunday featuring the defending Super Bowl champs, tops-in-the-AFC Kansas City Chiefs against the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs (11-6) have been in three of the last four Super Bowls, they won last year’s contest over the Philadelphia Eagles and they beat the 49ers in 2020. The 49ers (12-5) had the better record during the regular season. Two WRCR personalities, well-known for their sports prognostications, weighed in yesterday on which team they thought would win the big game. NY Boulders Drop Suspended Game to Empire State Greys, Win Second Game of Thursday Doubleheader
The New York Boulders yesterday finished up game two of their three-game series against the Empire State Grays, which had been suspended Wednesday night after it started raining in the 4th inning. The Boulders had been leading 2-0 when play stopped, but would go on to lose 4-2. Game three followed last night, and in third inning second baseman Tucker Nathans would put the Boulders on the board first…
And that was Marc Ernay with the call on the Boulders Broadcast Network. The Boulders would go on to win, 2-0. The Boulders are in 4th place in the division, 5 ½ games out of first place and three out of a playoff spot with just 15 games left in the season. The Boulders head north to Quebec tonight to face the division-leading Capitales in a four-game series this weekend.

After a 41-minute delay to the start of the game thanks to a surprisingly rain-soaked infield, the New York Boulders played game two of their three-game series against the Empire State Grays last night in Pomona.
