The Center for Safety and Change in New City is hosting its 2nd annual
“Paws for Safety” family festival fundraiser Saturday. Lisa Falone is with
the Center and says it’s become a safe haven for families AND their pets,
because domestic violence victims sometimes fear leaving their abusers for
fear of what could happen TO their pets…
The “Paws for Safety” festival is being held at 11 Saturday morning at
Kennedy Dells County Park in New City. The event features kids’
activities, and bring your dogs — they can play in a fenced-in area with
