Clarkstown councilman Frank Borelli has been appointed as Rockland’s representative on the MTA Board. Borelli’s job will be to make sure Rockland gets its fair share from the MTA, which is the authority’s least-served area. In a statement, Borrelli said he hopes to be able to get service improvements and eventually a one-seat ride into the city from Rockland. He was confirmed by the State Senate on Wednesday.
