Two incidents in Nyack last week involving guns were resolved before any shots were fired. Clarkstown Police say there was a dispute Thursday night between the driver of a tractor trailer and passenger over a gun. Police say 21 year-old Aaron Mosley of Virginia, the truck driver, denied being in possession of a weapon, but after a search, one was found. He was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and sent to the Rockland County Jail. In a separate incident, Clarkstown Police say there was another dispute in which a gun made an appearance, but no shots were fired. It was there, police say, that K9 “Jax” found a loaded black and silver .40-caliber handgun in the garbage. 36 year-old Anthony Middleton of Nyack was arrested on several gun-related charges, and was sent to the Rockland County Jail.
