The Clarkstown School District will be discussing its pest management
issues at tonight’s board meeting after photos of roaches in the North
High School locker room recently surfaced online. Clarkstown supervisor
George Hoehmann says the same problem has been an issue on and off there
for years…
In a letter to district parents, Superintendent of Schools Martin Cox said pest management at North High School can be challenging because "steam utility tunnels under the building are small, dark and damp, and they create a continual source of shelter and water for pests." The meeting is being held tonight at the Felix Festa Middle School at 7pm.
