An unidentified man has been arrested in Ramapo and charged with attempting to assault a town police officer. Ramapo Police say it happened Wednesday night during a traffic stop on College Road near RCC. A random pedestrian approached the police officer and started throwing punches. The officer was able to restrain and apprehend the suspect. The 23-year-old, was taken into custody and faces charges of Attempted Assault, Obstructing Governmental Administration, and Resisting Arrest. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled for arraignment in Ramapo Justice Court next week.
Report: Woman Arrested in Spring Valley Stabbing
A woman is in custody after a reported stabbing in Spring Valley yesterday. That’s according to News 12. A woman was reportedly stabbed in the stomach at a home on Doctor Frank Road. The woman was taken to Westchester Medical Center, her condition was not released.
