A developer has reportedly dropped a rezoning petition that would have allowed him to build condos in Orangetown near land where dinosaur tracks were found. Lohud.com reports plans for a public hearing on the rezoning of 17 acres by Route 303 and Greenbush Road are now extinct, along with the proposal for 68 townhouse-style two-bedroom condos. The dinosaur tracks were discovered in the 1970s – the land with the tracks would have been set aside as parkland.
