The bill that would give the East Ramapo Central School District monitors increased powers has been sent to the governor, but it has yet to be signed. Rockland assemblyman Ken Zebrowski is hopeful the governor will sign it soon…
The legislation would let the monitors override various actions by the Board of Education and give them better access to district records. The method of voting for the board was changed earlier this year from an at-large system to one that is ward-based.
