Tension in East Ramapo is on the rise as the lack of busing has become a concern. A School District Board of Ed meeting last night became chaotic after only 45 parents were allowed in the building for the meeting due to COVID restrictions, while hundreds more were left outside. That’s according to News 12. District officials blame a nationwide bus driver shortage, in East Ramapo about 10% of their students are affected. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Clarence Ellis is asking parents to be patient as they try to find a solution.
