Schools, area businesses, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Pearl River, birthday parties, weddings and funerals – all on hold thanks to coronavirus. Even a traditional memorial service, held annually during National Police Week to honor law enforcement officers who worked or lived in Rockland and died in the line of duty, had to be shelved Sunday in favor of online tributes.
