Before the famous Brown versus Board of Education case, in which Marshall successfully argued that racial segregation in public schools should be unconstitutional, Marshall worked successfully in Rockland to integrate the Hillburn School system. The monument will be located in Dutch Garden next to the Rockland County Courthouse.
