The Village of Haverstraw was revealed yesterday as the winner of a $10 million economic development grant from the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative. Ossining in Westchester also got $10 million, so the money both municipalities got will provide more ferry service between the two locations, including on the weekends, to help encourage tourism.
