Coco is a three year-old terrier mix. Coco was brought to us as an owner surrender. Coco is a loving active guy. He loves going on long walks and is quite playful. He loves to run and check out his surroundings when he is let into our pens. Coco has a high prey drive and cannot live in a home with cats. Due to his activity level, older children would be a great fit. Coco is quite affectionate and loves humans. With someone who is willing to set boundaries and consistent training for this love, he will be a dream dog.
All Storm wants is some love from her very own family who loves her. We promise she will adore you. Storm is a two year-old medium sized terrier mix. She was brought to Hi Tor from a very kind vet. She had a urinary tract infection and had not been spayed so her owner decided there was something wrong and they didn’t want her. Now, it takes Storm some time to warm up to new people, but she is a now a runner with the Dog Trotters and her personality has really started to shine through. She is much better walking on the leash but will run after anything furry things that moves so the nice people here believe that she can’t live with cats. She would benefit from an experienced dog owner and someone who wants to stay active with her.
Handsome Riley is about 4 1/2 years old and came to the shelter as a stray on May 22, 2016. That’s 3 long years at the shelter. Riley is quite a goofball. He absolutely loves his people! He does do silly things and is a quirky guy but is deserving to find a home with people who understands him and his silliness. Riley is house-trained, leash trained and neutered. He loves being around people and we think he would be a couch potato when he gets into a home. For more info on Coco, Storm or Riley please email Doug@hitor.org.
Linus is a handsome 15 month-old male cat who was surrendered when he was reacting to the dog in the house by spraying where the dog had been. Linus is a magnificent black cat with a white diamond design on his forehead. He is friendly and personable cat who would do great in a family without dogs.
Maxx is a regal 9 month-old male who was surrendered to the shelter back in April. He sadly was not able to stay with his owner due to landlord issues. He is a large cat who would be so grateful to have a home of his own!
Fawn is a sweet 2 year-old female cat who is very new to the shelter. She was left outside as a stray when her owners moved away. The neighbors tried to take care of her but she was not safe so they brought her to the shelter. For more info on Linus, Maxx or Fawn please email Amber@hitor.org
