NPR reported that Black Friday shoppers stayed home and spent more money online than ever before, a record $10.8 billion online, an increase of more than 10 percent over last year, according to Adobe Analytics. Stores suffered, as retail store tracker Sensormatic Solutions said in-store shopper traffic was down 8.2 percent from last year. Adobe Analytics told CNN Americans spent $13.3 billion on Cyber Monday, a 7.3 percent increase over last year.
