Local officials are still investigating whether a man who made incendiary comments at a village of Haverstraw planning board meeting last month could face any charges. Town of Haverstraw supervisor Howard Phillips says the D-A’s office and Haverstraw Police continue to review the situation…
The public hearing was to consider a request by the owners of a single-family home on one-point-two acres to add a second floor to the house to build a synagogue and off-street parking. The plan also needs the Zoning Board of Appeals to consider variances. Phillips says the issue could be on the Planning Board agenda again next month.
