A bipartisan group of lawmakers and lawmakers-to-be is urging the Board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority not to eliminate the West-of-Hudson rail service as has been suggested in recent weeks. The group includes elected officials at the state level from Rockland and Orange counties in both the Assembly and Senate, newly elected state reps, and both county executives.
