And that was U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Rockland Congressman Mondaire Jones, and State Attorney General Letitia James. 37 year-old Grafton Thomas was captured shortly after the attack, and investigators reportedly found his hand-written journals expressing antisemitic views. Thomas faces charges in state and federal court, but a federal judge has ruled him incompetent to stand trial on the federal charges and has since been hospitalized.
